TESLA INC Sr Software Applications Engineer (Multiple Positions) (AUS282082) in Austin, Texas

**[Sr Software Applications Engineer (Multiple Positions), Tesla, Inc., Austin, TX:

[Support factory software needs that contribute to the operational health of the systems that manufacture cars, superchargers, and energy storage. Work through tickets received from Factory Software users across all North American facilities. Work directly with software developers to understand user issues and provide solutions in real-time. Analyze the end-to-end work ow of Factory Software applications and the systems. Create workarounds for issues that require immediate solutions if a permanent one is not immediately available. Document troubleshooting guides to empower the customer to resolve issues quickly on their own. Setup automation and monitoring systems to optimize utilization of factory software. Support a specic production problem and provide active coordination between various groups including internal and external teams. Work as an incident commander of production critical calls that require coordination between cross-functional teams. Assist team in creating alerts and dashboards for analytics using Grafana and Splunk. Determine root cause for service failure for both server and client-side issues by checking logs and debugging.

[Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

**[MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

[Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and two (2) years of experience in improving technical issues in a product or service-based environment.

[Must have academic background, internship, or work experience in: [- MySQL to help end users create scheduled reports; [- Software development using Python, or Java; [- Analyzing integrated systems and their dependencies; [- Debugging tools including: Wireshark, Fiddler, Chrome Developer Tools, Splunk, or Sumo Logic; and [- Jira to create tickets post root cause analysis.

[Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related.
