Omnicell, Inc. Sr. SAP Business Lead in Austin, Texas

The Senior SAP Business Lead will play a pivotal Leadership role in Omnicell and will be the Business Subject Matter Expert working with functions across the company, providing interactive support for New Functional / Process enhancements and troubleshooting capabilities for SAP specific issues during a Product’s Quote to Cash Journey. This position will also work very closely with IT Business Applications team to design system related business processes enabling efficient, effective and compliant business operations while simplifying the complexity with technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Roadmap for SAP Enhancements / Initiatives for enablement of new capabilities within Manufacturing and Supply Chain

  • Benchmark current and future processes against best industry standards.

  • Ensures adoption of consistent processes, strategies and technology across Omnicell. Helps perpetuate the envisioned change to all Stakeholders

  • Participates in the upstream of Demand IT Planning, Budgeting and Strategy sessions within business and IT

  • Engage in efforts to establish scope and business case for new programs and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal and external technical resources performing analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment activities for applications.

  • Facilitates communication between the business teams, the technology team, and stakeholders and ensures the team is building the right solutions.

  • Plan and Manage User Acceptance Testing activities

  • Provide guidance on SAP transaction codes to end users.

  • Support end users with SAP reporting or analysis needs.

  • Support Troubleshooting of issues from Variant Configuration/ Production/ Planning and Shipping perspective.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrable knowledge in SAP Material Master, Production Planning modules with MTS, MTO production environment

  • Knowledge of Engineering change Management and Master data table Structures in SAP

  • Demonstrable knowledge of leading and implementing SAP System enhancement projects functional/ process enhancements or for integrations with 3rd party software for productivity

  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, with the ability to turn business strategy and analysis into processes and features that lead to desired business outcomes

  • Strong Communication and Project Lead Skills

  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional organization with a variety of vendor/suppliers

  • Strong business, strategic and technical acumen.

  • The ideal candidate is a self-motived teammate, executes with little mentorship, takes ownership of their work, is detail-oriented, and has passion for getting things done

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly, provide results with limited direction, and communicate complex results efficiently is a requirement

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technical stream preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience with SAP MM/PP modules

  • Leadership experience in Project Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree/MBA.

  • Experience with SAP Ariba integration.

  • Experience with SAP Tableau integration / reporting capabilities.

  • Experience with SAP Warehouse Module (WM) / Variant Configuration (VC) Module.

  • Demonstrated expert ability to drive change via collaboration across organizational levels, global geography and business entities.
