Sr Associate Remote Operations Lead provides support to the 24/7 remote monitoring of RWE North American renewable energy fleet. Remote Operators Lead will interface with teams including Generation Dispatch, Operations, Engineering, IT, OT, SCADA Operations and third parties to achive success.

Responsibilities:

• Address 24/7 Monitoring Desk support requests and execute on resolving issue by working with appropriate support and/or Operations teams.

• Support monitoring of RWE energy technology, including but not limited to Wind , Solar and Energy Storage Systems (ESS), events and address status changes per ROC procedures.

• Create process documentation, communication protcols, faulting handling and software development to support Remote Operations desk.

• Complete required ROC and OEM training.

• Leverage working knowledge of OEM SCADA systems and other tools to onboard new projects/technology.

• Support Monitoring Desk Operation coverage integrity including but not limited to covering 12-hour shifts over days/nights/weekends and holidays.

• Participate in cross-team training on specific topics, systems, and processes.

• Perform ad-hoc data reporting and analysis to assist in the preparation of various reports regarding turbine operation and team performance.

• Remotely troubleshoot and diagnose operational and technical issues, and communicate to Operations and Engineering, as detailed by ROC procedures.

• Support Development of Remote Operations team members.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of work experience in a technical related position with at least 2 years of experience in power operations, power control, SCADA operations, renewable energy, or similar environment.

• Associates degree required

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited school may substitute for 2 years of work experience. An AS/AA degree in Engineering Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Business from an accredited school may substitute for 1 years of technical experience

• Experience with renewable energy troubleshooting tools/ software listed below:

• ToolboxST,Toolkit ,Fluence,SMA,TMEIC,Power Electronicse,PODLG (BESS),Ignition,SI

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited school may substitute for 2 years of work experience. An AS/AA degree in Engineering Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Business from an accredited school may substitute for 1 years of technical experience
