Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical preparation of all shipments and accurate handling of materials using FIFO procedures. This role requires attention to detail in maintaining accurate documentation and the ability to operate a forklift truck. FORKLIFT EXPERINCE IS A PLUS

Responsibilities

  • NEED A VALID DL

  • Physically prepare all shipments.

  • Receive materials and store them correctly using FIFO procedures.

  • Keep accurate filing of receipt and shipping documentation with correct lot traceability tags.

  • Maintain tracking of shipping containers.

  • Operate a forklift truck.

  • Follow all EHS policies and procedures.

  • Perform accurate month-end inventories and understand part flow in the plant and where to stock it.

  • Load all production material for the assigned production lines.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a warehouse environment where close-toe shoes are mandatory. You will be using various technologies and equipment, including RF scanners and forklifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
