Purchasing - Support faculty and staff by compiling and recording information to prepare purchase orders, assure all processes are documented according to federal and state policies and procedures. Serve as liaison between the department, university purchasing office and vendors to fulfill departmental procurement needs. Prepare and process PBU, PB0, PB3, PB4, PB7 and PB8 purchase orders.Procurement Card - Monitor, record, and process all procurement card purchases in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Help users with usage questions, exceptions requests.Oversight of bid solicitation and evaluation and purchase requisitions or orders. Manage transportation logistics of varying degrees of complexity related to equipment purchases.Manage and track active contracts and purchase orders on an ongoing basis, monitoring compliance with contract requirements, contract expenditures, and contract renewal. Responsible for managing renewals, amendments, change orders, and closeout documentation. Responsible for entering agreements and contracts into university system and collaborating with central business contracts office.Assist with various accounting issues, such as disencumbering old purchase orders, and providing supporting documents needed for audits.Ensure all equipment is properly tagged and insured, as needed for the department and assist with the annual inventory process.Assist EPS Administrative Coordinator with projects and tasks related to accounting, travel, and purchasing.
