As an Applications Engineer at Siemens EDA, you will be responsible for sales and technical support of Catapult High Level Synthesis platform.

This includes, but is not limited to the following activities:

Job Duties:

  • Assisting Account Managers to determine sales execution strategy by identifying and qualifying the match-up between customer needs and Siemens EDA solutions.

  • Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Creating and executing winning evaluations and driving technical engagements to success and business win.

  • Supporting customers with deployment of Catapult HLS solutions and continued proliferation into broader design groups and user base.

  • Providing technical support to customers in both pre-sales and post-sales situations including technical problem resolution and training.

  • Performing beta testing and collaborating with R&D and Marketing to assist and shape product direction.

  • Moderate domestic travel is required when Covid is under control.

  • This position is mostly remote. Anywhere in the US/Canada.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in C/C++/SystemC and VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog is required.

  • Strong understanding of Digital design practices and methodology

  • Ability to code for synthesis targeting ASIC/FPGA using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog or HLS using C++/systemC

  • 5+ years of proven hands-on experience in ASIC/FPGA design using RTL or HLS

  • Good understand of power, performance, area tradeoffs.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Requires BS EE/CS or MS EE/CS.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The total cash compensation range for this position is $135,700 to $271,400 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
