In SAP programme management at PwC, you will focus on overseeing and managing large-scale SAP implementation projects within an organisation. You will work closely with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to define project objectives, develop project plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, and mitigate risks. Working in SAP programme management, you will coordinate multiple projects, resources, and stakeholders to enable successful delivery of SAP solutions.

Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Demonstrates intimate leader-level abilities to enable effective teaming, emphasizing expertise in SAP applications-based solutions and proven success in selling, executing, and leading all aspects of complex consulting engagements across the SAP product suite, achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, including:

  • Developing independently new market-differentiated SAP solutions and leading proposal development efforts specifically for the utilities sector;

  • Assisting clients in the implementation and support of SAP application packaged solutions and improving business processes within the utilities industry;

  • Developing solutions based on common issues facing clients in the utilities sector, such as energy, water, and waste management;

  • Establishing and managing governance structure, steering committees, and risk management protocols tailored to utility projects;

  • Mobilizing, resourcing, and managing cross-functional teams with a focus on utility-specific SAP implementations;

  • Coordinating with SAP partners, system integrators, and other third-party vendors to deliver utility-focused solutions;

  • Evaluating program metrics, trends, and KPIs to optimize project delivery in the utilities sector;

  • Bridging gaps between IT and business units within utility companies;

  • Utilizing Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies for SAP transformations in the utilities industry;

  • Familiarizing with SAP technology stack, including SAP BASIS, Fiori, and integration tools relevant to utility applications;

  • Applying change management frameworks and best practices in utility SAP projects;

  • Possessing high-level knowledge of S/4 HANA and ECC integration with other SAP modules and 3rd party systems used in the utilities sector;

  • Communicating effectively to senior client executives, project teams, and third parties within the utilities industry;

  • Articulating a deep understanding of the business value of SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformations to potential utility clients;

  • Identifying client pain points and aligning SAP solutions to address specific business needs in the utilities sector;

  • Understanding SAP market trends and emerging technologies to position solutions effectively for utility clients;

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing diverse project teams, including those with an offshore delivery model, focused on utility SAP projects;

  • Defining, managing, and optimizing program budgets for SAP transformations in the utilities industry;

  • Understanding industry-specific challenges and regulations that may impact SAP implementations in the utilities sector; and,

  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships within the utilities industry.

Demonstrates thought-leader level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing broad subject matter expertise and success with the SAP product suite, leading technical development efforts and offshore development resources, including:

  • Designing, implementing, and supporting complex business processes in an SAP environment tailored to the utilities sector;

  • Designing, building, testing, and deploying the technical components required for successful SAP solutions in the utilities industry;

  • Identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities in the utilities sector; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection;

  • Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation within utility SAP projects;

  • Coordinating Pricing and Legal teams, and providing feedback to help negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and subcontractors in the utilities industry; and,

  • Developing strategy; as well as writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff and management, such as presentation slides; practice marketing materials; change management plans and/or project plans; workshops and whitepapers; practice methodologies and tools; policies and procedures; and/or other standard business communications.

The salary range for this position is: $148,000 - $317,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
