Job Title: SAP Delivery Manager
Location: Alpharetta – Atlanta GA (Full time onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery Management:
Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery, including planning, execution, and close-out for SAP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource plans in alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives.
Ensure SAP projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT to understand business needs and translate them into SAP requirements.
Manage expectations and communication with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates and escalations, maintaining transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor SAP project teams, ensuring that team members are aligned with project objectives and are equipped to deliver high-quality results.
Work closely with internal and external resources, including SAP consultants, vendors, and system integrators, to ensure effective collaboration and resource utilization.
Foster a positive team culture and provide ongoing support to ensure team members are motivated and productive.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify, track, and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of SAP projects.
Proactively manage project issues and take corrective actions to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines and deliverables.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate SAP delivery processes to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and standardization.
Implement best practices for project management, change management, and system optimization.
SAP System Optimization & Support:
Collaborate with business and IT teams to drive continuous improvement and optimization of SAP solutions post-implementation.
Ensure SAP systems are effectively maintained, supported, and enhanced to meet changing business needs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
At least 7-10 years of experience in SAP project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or delivery management role.
Extensive experience in SAP implementations, upgrades, and support (S/4HANA experience preferred).
Strong understanding of SAP modules such as Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM/SD), Production Planning (PP), and other relevant SAP functionalities.
Experience working in a global or multi-national environment, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
Experience in Managing Custom Apps, Analytics and Salesforce
Proven track record of successful SAP project delivery (both on-time and on-budget).
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency with SAP project management tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, Project Management software, etc.).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage and negotiate with both business and technical teams.
PMP, SAP Project Management, or similar certifications are preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United stated without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Our client falls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and must comply with the ITAR, which mandates that all applicants hold US person.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $100,500 - $186,700.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
