DXC Technology SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Architect in Austin, Texas

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP BTP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with the company’s IT strategy.

  • Develop and maintain the architecture blueprint for SAP BTP, a critical document that guides our cloud infrastructure, integration, data management, and security.

  • Oversee the integration of SAP BTP with other SAP modules and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed in developing and deploying SAP BTP solutions.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP BTP applications to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams is a key factor in our success. You are instrumental in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment by gathering requirements, defining project scope, and ensuring successful project delivery.

  • Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP features, best practices, and industry trends to improve the platform and deliver innovative solutions continuously.

  • Develop comprehensive documentation and train internal teams on SAP BTP solutions and best practices.

Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 7-10 years SAP experience with at least 2 large scale ends to end SAP BTP implementation experience

  • Proven experience with SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Platform, or similar cloud-based platforms.

  • Extensive experience in designing and integrating SAP solutions with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP Data Management.

  • Proficiency in cloud architecture, microservices, and API management.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA.

  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments .

Key Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, per ITAR compliance, to work within a controlled goods program environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience, with at least 7 years in the industry and 3 years focused on SAP BTP architecture.

  • Strong background in SAP Services, specifically with experience in designing and implementing SAP BTP solutions, including integration scenarios, extension development, and SAP Cloud Platform environment.

  • Proven expertise in consulting with a track record of successful project leadership in complex environments.

  • Deep knowledge of consulting methodologies, industry trends, and cutting-edge BTP technologies.

  • A commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $91,400 - $169,700.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
