Proposal Development: Identify and analyze funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other organizations. Lead the development, writing, and submission of high-quality grant proposals. Collaborate with research teams to understand project goals, methodologies, and outcomes.Research and Analysis: Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of proposed projects.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with principal investigators, researchers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary proposal information. Facilitate team communications and lead proposal development activities. Provide regular updates and feedback to project teams and management.Grant Management: Manage multiple grant proposal projects simultaneously, ensuring timely submission of all required documents. Maintain accurate records of all grant activities, including submissions, awards, and reporting requirements.Technical Writing and Documentation: Conduct research to support grant proposals, including literature reviews and data analysis. Translate complex technical and scientific information into clear, compelling narratives. Prepare detailed budgets, timelines, and work plans for grant applications. Ensure compliance with all funding agency guidelines and requirements.Project Management: Organize and lead technical meetings with stakeholders involving the microfabricated and nanosensor project portfolios. Prepare and deliver technical presentations at scientific meetings and invited presentations. Supervise graduate students and post-doctoral researchers as needed. Maintain a robust scientific publication effort. Develop and facilitate a broad range of internal and external stakeholder relationships to build partnerships and lead the commercial adoption of AEC-developed technologies. The hire will be involved with outreach and support AECs new member recruitment efforts.
