Job/Position DescriptionThis is a technical position on the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Information Technology Services (ITS) DevOps team. The Systems Analyst IV position primarily works in the coordination of release activities. This also includes release management, change management, managing builds and deployments, system administration, and documentation.The Systems Analyst IV position works directly with other DevOps team members, and collaborates closely with all stakeholders including project managers, testing teams, and management to coordinate the on-time and quality release of software to production. The Systems Analyst IV position will manage the software development life cycle (SDLC) systems and processes, manage the build and deployment systems, document changes and processes, record change approvals, and provide release coordination.The applicant should have effective communication and collaboration skills. In addition, they should be comfortable communicating in different formats including written, spoken, and presentations. The applicant should also have a technical understanding and prior experience working in a software development setting.
