Job Title: InspectorJob Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inspector to monitor and supervise onsite activities. The role involves taking pictures for site updates, general inspection tasks, and reporting. Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of general construction practices and be familiar with using technology for reporting purposes.
Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise onsite activities.
Take pictures for site updates.
Conduct general inspection tasks, including checking for damages and monitoring materials.
Use an iPad to access a portal for requested inspections and input reports into the system.
Manage and complete three work orders daily, ensuring they are submitted before 4 pm.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Essential Skills
General inspection knowledge.
Experience in precast, electrical, and concrete inspection.
Understanding of general construction practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformance.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years of experience in construction or related fields.
Curiosity and strong safety awareness.
Work Environment
This role is based on a semiconductor site, with the potential to work across up to five different sites, offering long-term work opportunities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. The position requires the ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Training will be provided by the lead tech and onsite personnel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
