Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will ensure efficient and safe loading, unloading, and storing of products in our warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move materials and products in and around the warehouse or production area.

• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks or pallets.

• Stack products in designated storage areas according to safety guidelines.

• Assist in maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and storing items properly.

• Perform routine inspections on forklift equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues.

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.

• Work with warehouse supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient operations.

• Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed, including packaging, sorting, and order picking.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift.

• Valid driver's license.

• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or as required).

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

• Basic math skills for inventory tracking.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control.

• Ability to operate additional equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.

Schedule: M-F, 6:30am - 3:30pm

Location: Manor, Texas

Pay: $19/hr.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
