TEXAS FACILITIES COMMISSION Electronics Technician II in AUSTIN, Texas
**The Position: Performs advanced (senior level) fire sprinkler, related systems,andtechnical support work. Work involves providing technicaloversight and/or performance of the maintenance, testing, and alterations of fire sprinklers, fire pumps, and related systems. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Job Description: TFC is looking for an Electronics Technician II to perform advanced (senior-level) fire sprinkler, related systems and technical support work for the Facilities Management and Operations Division.

Qualifications for the Electronics Technician II: **
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or completion of GED.
- Vocational or technical training certification in electronics, electronic technology, or a related field.
- Five (5) years experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical, Fire alarm, Security, and related systems, including two (2) years of supervisory or lead worker experience.
- Education and experience may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.
- Valid State of Texas Class C drivers license.
