Job Description
As an Electrical Test Technician specializing in IR Thermography, you will be responsible for generating technical IR reports, reviewing other thermographer's reports, and consulting on test planning and IR report format updates under the guidance of engineers and managers. This role involves IR thermographic testing of semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will also be responsible for IR scanning any electrical assembly circuits specified for 30 Amps or greater, and producing professional IR reports using the radiometric images taken using FLIR infrared camera series T400 or newer. All reports must be accurate and promptly completed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a 5S working environment, communicating effectively with peers, engineers, and customers, developing test plans for new electrical assemblies, understanding and applying NEC specifications and NFPA safety codes and standards, practicing safety by following company procedures, consistently engaging in continuous learning through online tutorials, using FLIR TOOLS Version 5 or newer software daily, and preparing and storing data for traceability and statistical process control.

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.
Work Environment
Climate controlled warehouse environment. 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm, with potential extension until 4:30pm.
