We are looking to hire several Industrial Maintenance Technicians / Electrical Technician in Austin, TX to work for one of the largest Medical Device Manufacturing company in the US. This is a Direct Placement position and the pay is between $32 - $39 an hour, depending on experience. Title : Industrial Maintenance Technician/ Automation Technician

Pay : $32 - $39 an hour

Location : Austin, TX

Shift : 3-2-2-3 Schedule: 12 hour shifts. 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Description :

• Maintains and services mechanical equipment, machinery, and components and performs skilled repairs of mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment.

• Make repairs or modifications to production equipment utilizing the following skills: read pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics; utilize basic electronic test equipment (volt/ohm and amp meter); pneumatics and electrical controls, pipefitting, welding, and mechanics.

• Assist with installation checkout, and start-up of new or modified plant production equipment.

• Order maintenance machine parts. Track and turn in repair parts.

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor or Manager with facts and details for formal investigations.

• Upload and download PLC programs.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience in a manufacturing industry

• 2 years of PLC, Electrical up to 480V, micrometers

• Must be able to use tools such as, but not limited to, voltage and amperage meters, oscilloscope, megger, hand tools, measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers, and PLCs and associated software.
