Outreach, Education and Event CoordinationOversee all daily logistical operations of education and outreach programs, including but not limited to: scheduling trainings, securing supplies for trainings, tabling, developing and implementing educational programs and staff development opportunities, and coordinating and marketing events and opportunitiesCollaborate with campus partners to plan and execute campus-wide events and programming, including Disability Access and Belonging Month, orientation events, and Disability GraduationEstablish and develop successful partnerships on campus that are mutually beneficial and support increased accessibility on campus. Facilitate relationships and coordinate events with career services offices, development, and other campus and community partners related to employment, internships, and career developmentCommunications and MarketingManage DandA and DCC communications (monthly newsletters, social media, emails, and website) and collaborate with the communications team on marketing campaigns and assets. Create and update educational materials and reports, including but not limited to: handouts, videos, online modules, annual reports, etc.Screen, schedule, and complete interview requests for student assignments and published mediaTraining and Program DevelopmentDevelop and conduct trainings for the University community (including students, faculty, and staff) on disability and accessibility. Oversee program updates, evaluation, and training of facilitatorsAssess outreach and education program effectiveness and recommend changes in programming, procedures, and policies, as appropriate. Develop and implement new activities and programmingStudent and Community SupportServe as the point of contact for general inquiries to DandA. Provide referrals and resources where appropriate. May assist with Drop-In and/or intake appointments with current or prospective students and familiesMay co-supervise student staff, interns, and/or graduate studentsOrganize and facilitate joint Disability and Access/Disability Cultural Center Student Advisory Committee and Faculty Advisory CommitteeSupport operations of the physical Disability Cultural Center spaceAdministrativePrepare program budget and control expenditures in accordance with budget allocationsFunction as a member of DandA, assist with general functions of the office and special projects as assignedOversee disability-related scholarships and awards
