Participates in Academic Information Systems leadership team, actively collaborating on how to achieve the units mission. Collaborates in development of vision, strategy, and roadmaps to support university-wide needs. Considers long-term consequences and implications of actions and decisions for the university. Understands how business needs, data needs and technology opportunities intersect, and uses that knowledge to influence strategy and make decisions to advance the mission and goals of the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost and the university as a whole.Builds effective relationships inside and outside of the organization. Models service orientation toward stakeholders and partners. Effectively relates to others by collaborating and cooperating, even with those holding divergent and/or opposing views and goals. Models respect for people by seeking and including different thinking styles, cultures and backgrounds. Provides consulting expertise to campus stakeholders. Directs activities to improve the security, reliability, usability, accessibility, and maintainability of systems and data, with particular emphasis on testing, monitoring, reporting, and documentation. Anticipates and ensures appropriate resources and structures are in place to support short- and long-term goals. Creates and/or uses effective metrics to support fact-based decision-making and drive results.
