We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, insightful, and experienced analyst with a proven ability to deliver value through analytics.

What That Means

You will play a key role in the team responsible for most of the company’s revenue, by making a meaningful contribution toward improving our valuations and sales at automotive auctions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze data from a variety of sources and produce actionable business insights

• Make business and pricing recommendations based on data analysis

• Pull in data from multiple sources "ETL” and mine the data, looking for patterns to make the business more profitable

• Build reports and visualizations for stakeholders

• Provide intelligence for tests and experiments

• Collaborate across multiple teams including developers

  Requirements

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience working as an analyst, and have a proven track record of adding value through analytics

• Be able to articulate when/how you added value for business units

• Experience influencing others to improve effectiveness

• Advanced capabilities in digging into data at various stages of readiness using SQL and/or Python

• Advanced ability to communicate observations and action from the data with visualization applications (Tableau, Domo)

• Strong grasp on statistical concepts with experience putting these into practice

• Experience with testing and experimentation, and their analysis

• An aptitude for going beyond the data: how a business runs and what drives profit

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

• A creative problem-solving mindset ready to tackle the cutting edge

• Well-rounded technological capability (Atlassian and Salesforce experience a plus)
