Work with School of Nursing staff and community partners to develop neighborhood-level strategies to support the health and social services needs of families and individuals.Maintain regular communication with community partners via face-to-face meetings, emails, and texts, phone calls.Provide essential services to individuals and families in their communities.Promote health living practices and prevent diseases by educating people on proper nutrition, exercise, and hygiene.Collect data and assist in generating reports on health outreach activities and outcomes.Document activities and results in an effective manner while adhering to School of Nursing's guidelines and protocols.Work with grant program managers to create and distribute educational material for community partners.Medical receptionist/office assistant:Answer clinic phones, schedule patient appointments and make reminder calls. Maintain confidential patient documents. Inputs and retrieves medical information and files as needed. Ensures correctness and completeness of data that has been or is to be entered. Provide information regarding eligibility for services and register patients.Evaluates incoming mail, reports, or inquiries and distributes. Types letters, reports, forms, and other materials from notes or rough drafts when asked by health care professionals.Receive payment from clients; record and issue receipts for cash and checks.
