Monitor the campus Building Automation System (BAS) for proper operation of building mechanical systems and respond to alarm conditions.Analyzes computer generated and phoned-in facility related problems, prioritizes and coordinates proper responses.Handles normal and emergency phone calls as the after hours center. Dispatches technicians as needed. On occasion will need to be able to respond to crisis situations. Create accurate Work Orders.Provides timely and courteous customer service, keeps supervisors up to date on daily work order status to ensure clear, concise, and necessary communication channels are maintained and customer expectations are met. Works in a professional manner. Communicates effectively with customers to understand their needs and expectations.Performs work independently from written or verbal instructions and in accordance with established operating procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner.Analyze operating difficulties with building systems using troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to identify equipment related issues.Collects building automation system data. Runs reports, maintains historical logs, and software databases.
