Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage our DevOps infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps best practices, 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure environments, and expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring smooth collaboration between development and operations teams, optimizing software delivery, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.

• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to automate cloud resource provisioning and management.

CI/CD Implementation:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to enable reliable and efficient software builds, testing, and deployments.

• Streamline release processes by implementing blue/green or canary deployments, versioning strategies, and rollback mechanisms.

Automation & Scripting:

• Automate manual processes related to deployment, scaling, and monitoring using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.

• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to improve quality assurance.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization:

• Implement robust monitoring solutions using tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics to ensure system uptime and identify performance bottlenecks.

• Continuously assess infrastructure and suggest optimizations to improve scalability, cost efficiency, and reliability.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:

• Work closely with development and operations teams to align DevOps strategies with business objectives.

• Document processes and train team members on DevOps tools and best practices.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure DevOps environments comply with organizational policies and industry standards.

• Implement secure DevOps practices, such as automated security testing and identity management with Azure AD.

  Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Proven track record of building and managing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications.

• Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Azure services like AKS, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Azure API Management.

• Strong knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Relevant certifications in CI/CD platforms or IaC tools are a plus.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
