Academic AffairsPrepare program proposals for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Assist with accreditation review process.Implement academic policy and maintain academic standards.Capture, compile, and analyze enrollment, registration, curriculum, and student data. Prepare reports and analyses.?Curriculum and CoursesManage course inventory and course scheduling processes, including cross-listing, for the School of Civic Leadership.Coordinate and support faculty proposals for Signature Courses, Skills and Experience Flags, and Core Curriculum designations.Manage course catalogs, examination of schedules, and related timelines that structure undergraduate study.Responsible for all aspects of course registration, including early registration, add drops, and waitlist processes.Manage related reporting and compliance monitoring. Ensure timely submission of syllabi and faculty CVs.Coordinate end-of semester course evaluation administration and grade reporting. Student AffairsProvide administrative and logistical support for the School of Civic Leaderships outreach programs to high school teachers and high school students.Attend to student concerns. Review petitions, respond to appeals, attend to student progress, and provide academic counseling. Maintain student records. Represent students to School of Civic Leadership faculty and administrators.Direct placement programs for internships, direct career placement and graduate placement services.Teaching and MissionDevelop and teach courses in the undergraduate curriculum and outreach programs as assigned.Sustain an active reflection on the purpose of civic education.Other duties as assigned to further the teaching mission and student success in the School of Civic Leadership.
