As a Channel Support Account Manager, you can experience the best of both worlds, working with thousands of our external Reseller Partners as well as working closely with the best minds within other functions of Operations. This role has a wide range of responsibilities that are focused on Account Management. The position entails covering Collaboration, Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) weekly process with key channel partners. To achieve this end the main Account Management activities are: working with regional Supply Planning, Sales, and Sales Finance in the analysis, dedication and delivery of product. The Channel Support Account Manager is the single point of contact to the account for all monitoring, reporting, and communications of operational issues, from pre–Purchase Order (PO) activities receipt to Proof of Delivery (POD).
Description
▪ Own and manage procurement, supply/demand forecast, and movement of product valued in $B’s across all hardware product lines servicing all sales channels (Retail, E-commerce, Reseller, Education) for multiple countries/geographies. ▪ Develop complex statistical/forecast models (utilizing price elasticity, seasonality, cannibalization, etc.) to drive critical business decisions and insights. ▪ Present, defend, and influence product line business plans to senior executive leadership both internal/external to Apple and cross- functional stakeholders on a weekly basis. ▪ Influence and triangulate cross-functional alignment within a matrixed organization ▪ Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact, including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events. ▪ Manage Collaboration, Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) with multiple Fortune 100 channel partners, strengthening business relationships with our customers. ▪ Drive, influence, and develop long-term strategic initiatives that shape the future of Apple’s supply chain and omnichannel roadmap. ▪ Plan, drive, and execute New Product Introduction operational activities, ensuring world-class customer experience across all of Apple’s routes to market. ▪ Identify process improvement opportunities (tools, workstreams, systems) and drive solutions from conception through implementation. ▪ Responsible for supply allocation and distribution of hundreds of millions of units between channels and reseller partners to maximize financial results and customer experience. ▪ Influence and manage operations across 50 global OEMs lifting out of 10+ origin locations. ▪ Drive innovation opportunities within our supply chain aimed towards achieving Apple’s Sustainability and eco-friendly goals of Carbon Neutrality throughout our supply chain by 2030.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field required. MBA or Advanced
Degree preferred.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of planning experience in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, or Retail industry required.
Excellent business communication and presentation skills. Additional language proficiencies are a plus.
Advanced level of Excel and data analysis skills
Ability to toggle between strategic and detail-orientated thinking.
Ability to influence across multi-functional teams and work in a matrixed environment.
Capacity to thrive in an environment where accountability without control is prevalent.
Enthusiasm for working through ambiguity.
Strong work ethic, perseverance and flexibility.
