As a Partner Development Manager within the Emerging Technology Partnerships organization, you will be entrusted with driving the overall success and growth of our most promising technology ISV partners. You will assume a holistic, eagle-eyed view of the business generated by your partner portfolio, seamlessly coordinating between the Technology Partner team and AWS field commercial sales to maximize partner-driven AWS revenue. Key job responsibilities

  • Onboard new Software Partners including Start-ups, SaaS providers, PaaS providers, established ISVs at scale

  • Effectively manage and measure a large number of partner enablement and go-to-market requests.

  • Manage and jointly close a pipeline of customer opportunities developed with our partners.

  • Identify, enable and qualify high-value partners that drive revenue and deliver best-in-class solutions on AWS customers.

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to further develop partner strategies and processes.

  • Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics.

A day in the life

As a Partner Development Manager, your days are a whirlwind of activity. You'll collaborate with colleagues to onboard new ISV partners, coordinate with Partner Solutions Architects to align on technical integrations. You'll then shift to high-level discussions with GTM specialists, fine-tuning go-to-market approaches for your existing partners. The afternoon will be filled with partner and customer calls, where you'll leverage your exceptional communication skills to understand their needs, identify new opportunities, and guide your portfolio towards revenue growth. Throughout, you'll maintain a relentless focus on expanding partner-driven AWS revenue through your business acumen and strategic insights.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of business agreements development, negotiation and execution experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $135,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
