What You Will Be Doing:

As the Credit Manager, you will lead the credit team as an integral part of Yancey Bros. Co.'s sales operations, ensuring that goals for the accounts receivable portfolio are met or exceeded.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish key relationships with key stakeholders, across business and customers.

  • Implement processes and methods to evaluate customers’ creditworthiness.

  • Coach and mentor credit analyst/rep;

  • Prepare and assist in the preparation for credit analysis for customers.

  • Full responsibility for ongoing monitoring of AR, delinquency and credit losses.

  • Facilitate the receipt of financial updates;

  • Identify business risks for the portfolio using data-driven decision-making;

  • Provide insights into shaping processes and procedures related to order-to-cash to drive performance and enable sales;

  • Perform other ad-hoc analysis as directed/assigned;

  • Monitoring business activity versus approved limits;

  • Identifying credit mitigation solutions to enable profitable business activity.

    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in required safety programs, and working in a safe manner

  • Miscellaneous duties and reports as assigned by manager

    Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have prior account management experience or training. Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills are also required.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in Accounting or Finance.

  • Experience in credit risk analysis, risk management, quantitative analysis or related field

  • Direct supervision of an individual or small team

  • Leading data transformation and process optimization projects

  • Managing a broad portfolio in a large corporate environment

  • Experience in ERP implementation

    Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong understanding of finance statements and experience analyzing them for credit evaluation purposes

  • Collaboration mindset: seeks to build working relationships and partner with others to bridge gaps and solver problems

  • Transformation focused: seeks opportunities and optimize processes and workflows in what relates to the credit department.

  • Systems and tools savvy: you have experience sourcing large volumes of data from multiple
