At AAA, your success is our success. As an Automotive Repair Technician B, we can offer you:

  • The starting base compensation for this position is $21.42 to $30.09 hourly flat rate. The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.

  • 20 Hour Billable Week Guarantee

  • The opportunity to earn a productivity bonus on each biweekly paycheck ranging $250 - $550!

  • Our full-time technicians work a total of 5 days each week, with Mondays, Friday & Saturdays typically required. You’ll get Sundays off each week, and another day during the week off dependent on business need.

What our Automotive Repair Technician B’s do:

  • Routinely perform diagnostics and repair work in the following areas: suspension and steering, brakes (including ABS/traction control work), electrical, heating/air conditioning, other jobs as assigned.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.

  • Maintain a clean, well-organized work area.

  • Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow safety procedures as outlined in the safety information supplied by each equipment manufacturer and corporate safety policies.

  • Organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency in the performance of all job functions, including vehicle movement.

  • Accurately perform repairs and maintenance on all vehicles as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures or accepted industry practices.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance at a level normally acquired through the completion of three (3) years as an automotive technician.

  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certifications preferred in the areas of Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Heating and Air Conditioning. Or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire (Paid for by AAA).

  • Ability to train and mentor other Repair Technicians and Service Associates.

  • Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position.
