Job Description:

Our co-ops are fully integrated into the team and work on projects and assignments with real business impact, giving our students an edge over their peers. \ \ Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission.\ \ The Role:\ Our site in Aurora is seeking a Production Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.\ \ What Youll Do:\ \ Serve as a production engineer for the pads business unit, contributing to various processes within our group.\ Collaborate very closely with our engineers and assist with crucial projects in: milling, lamination, surfacing, grooving, and finishing room processes.\ Be involved in supporting the CI projects, and OEE,\ Analyze quality data, assisting with research, and implementing new technologies.\ \ What We Seek:
\ Strong background/interest in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering\ Demonstrated passion for innovation and problem-solving and a willingness to learn from experienced engineers\ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\ Exhibit adaptability, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to challenges.\ \ Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
\ MasterCam\ SolidWorks or Onshape\ Six Sigma\ Gen AI/ML\ Knowledge of IoT\ \ Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:\ \ Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering field graduating in Spring 2025 or later.
Eligibility:
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January 2025-June 2025
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
