Actalent Manufacturing Technician in Aurora, Illinois

Description:

•Develop and maintain Assembly line balance and support development and maintenance of Assembly routings as required. •Provide day-to-day technical support for operations, including process / lean / KPS improvements and initiation of Engineering Change Requests as required. •Procure and manage assembly hand tools, work stations and equipment as required. •Support new product development initiatives and the successful and timely introduction of New Products into production. •Support successful and timely introduction of Engineering Changes into production. •Support plant safety and security programs as required. •Design, develop, test and manufacture electronic and computer-controlled mechanical systems. •Support CIP meetings and participate in daily Production meetings as required. •Assist in the training and development of new personnel. •Capture and publish standard work videos. •Other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. •2 to 4 years of related experience is required •Provide technical support to Manufacturing Engineers and Operations to improve manufacturing operations, by building, procuring and validating fixtures, workstations and test equipment, and by developing and maintaining process documentation •Develop and maintain Assembly line balance and support development and maintenance of Assembly routings as required. •Support new product development initiatives and the successful and timely introduction of New Products into production. •Basic math skills with strong problem-solving abilities. •Basic knowledge of MS Office products such as Word & Excel is required, as well as ability to create and manipulate digital photographs and CAD images in these applications.
