*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\ *The positions duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- CAD Design and drafting
- Construction surveying and layout
- Maintain grades for construction crews
- Real Estate Development / Construction Projects
- Construction staking Grades, road, utility.
- Track project quantities for pay estimate approvals
- Topography and Volume estimates
- Construction survey drawings
- Construction Plans and as-builts
- Topography maps
- Volume estimates
- Drone surveys
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Land Surveying or Associates in Land Surveying
{=html} <!-- --> - Professional Land Surveyor is not required but would be considered a plus or the ability to become a PLS in the State of Illinois. - Strong computer and technical skills, creative/design performance skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
{=html} <!-- --> - Team player; ability to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal. - Ability to work independently - Have excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities as required.
{=html} <!-- --> - The preferred candidate will have knowledge of industrial and commercial construction and be familiar with the terminology of such an office. - Surveying background GPS-Topcon System - Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, this is not required but would be considered a plus. - Drone license a plus.
