Franklin D Azar & Associates is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to contribute their skills and expertise to a thriving legal practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and management for Workers' Compensation claims. Conduct thorough reviews of medical records, insurance documents, and other relevant materials. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, and opposing counsel. Prepare discovery requests and responses. Organize and maintain case files and documents. Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations. Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in Workers' Compensation laws and regulations. Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent paralegal certification. Proven experience as a Workers' Compensation Paralegal, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role. Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and procedures. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. *EOE

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
