Job Overview

Supervises Food Service team members in assigned work location. Maintains the highest food quality, customer service excellence, and cost control in conjunction with regulatory compliance. Oversees Food Service in the absence of direct managers. Assists in the day-to-day operations of the department, supporting cross-functional work teams. *This position will primarily oversee our on-site coffee shop, but also provide support to the cafe.

Department Name: Food Services Job Status: 40 hours per week, eligible for benefits Shift: Days. 7:00am - 3:30pm, some weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

Education:High School diploma or equivalent. Experience:Two (2) years of experience in customer service industry. Food service experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE No direct patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Hands-on supervisor for Food Service team members in assigned work location. Oversees appropriate staffing levels and job routines in conjunction with Food Service management team. Educates team members on job functions and processes. Ensures proper training of team members by utilizing resources available within the team. Develops clear goals and objectives for performance management with team members. Responsible for holding team members accountable. Completes and delivers performance evaluations to direct reports. Oversees cash control, customer service, and operations. Ensures proper sanitation and food safety standards are met. Create a positive work environment by assisting team members with customer support when needed.Maintains a positive rapport with internal and external customers through customer service. Conducts service recovery with team members, patients and families. Ensures food and beverage items are rotated, temperatures are taken, and products are labeled. Assists with menu development, product selection and measures to reduce waste. Writes team member schedules. Completes Kro os and other relevant time keeping administration tasks. Other duties as assigned.
