Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Assistant Professor:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Board Eligibility in Neurology with a Special Competence in Child Neurology

  • DEA certificate

  • Ability to obtain CO medical license

  • 0-6 years of clinical experience, interest in pursuing academic promotion

Associate Professor:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Board Eligibility in Neurology with a Special Competence in Child Neurology

  • DEA certificate

  • Ability to obtain CO medical license

  • 6 or more years of clinical experience, interest in pursuing academic promotion

Condition of Employment:

  • Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado

  • Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in a Child Neurology practice: Private or Academic

  • Previous experience performing work in quality improvement projects in Child Neurology

  • Previous teaching experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills; both written and orally

  • Broad knowledge and clinical skills in pediatric neurology

  • Commitment to Patient Safety, Quality Care, Communication, and Customer Service

The starting salary range () for this position has been established as Assistant Professor: $207,500 to $220,000 Associate Professor: $230,000 to 250,000 The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
