Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat outpatients with neuro-ophthalmologic conditions
Perform adult strabismus surgery and optic nerve sheath fenestrations
Collaborate with other ophthalmologic subspecialists in caring for patients with complex disorders.
Establish a bench research program in optic nerve disease
Collaborate with basic science researchers within ophthalmology and neurology
Instruct residents, fellows, and medical students in neuro-ophthalmology

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Assistant Professor
M.D. trained and PhD
Completed an approved residency program in ophthalmology including fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology
Must be board certified or eligible and have a Colorado medical license or be eligible
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record of research and academic productivity within or related to neuro-ophthalmology
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal disease is required.
Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of neuro-ophthalmology.
Demonstrated interest in resident teaching and basic or clinical applied research.
