Our location in Aurora, CO has an opening for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician.

Your Day-to-Day -Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components for numerous types of manufacturing equipment, including variable speed motors, VFDS, Micromaster drives, encoders, contractors, relays, and related software program -Electrical problem-solving with control wiring and board repairs as needed and able to use all electrical measurement devices and mechanic tools. -Read and interpret equipment operation and parts manuals, electrical schematics, and can perform computer tasks related to work. -Day to day troubleshooting, repair, and installation of low and high voltage (single, three phase) industrial electromechanical and control systems for utility and production equipment -Utilize the continuous improvement mindset and tools to actively participate in identifying and correcting opportunities, improving processes including participation in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, the creation and maintenance of preventative maintenance standards, the writing of One Point Lessons, and participation in continuous improvement methodology events. Interface and communicate with equipment operators and maintenance staff to ascertain problems with equipment -Ability to install, wire and maintain relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, solenoid valves, motors, starters, VFDs, PLC I/O modules, analog control devices, safety circuits.Including layout circuits, install of fixtures, ability to bend and ru conduit, install motors and other electrical devices and components. -Effectively support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a goal of continually reducing unscheduled downtime. -Work independently in finding, troubleshooting, and repairing problems -Be familiar with PLC s and Control circuits and able to identify I/O points on schematics and locate the associated I/O point on the PLC. Preference with knowledge of AB/Omron Systems -Assist with system startups and operational checkouts on systems including configuration, wiring, calibration, grounding, and power testing -Completes preventative maintenance and other reliability tasks, assist in diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds of machines, partner with engineering or others on non-routine repairs and defect handling solutions -Must be willing to Train new and junior employees within the department. -Able to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions. -Able to read, understand and follow documents such as safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Quality Systems SQF/HAACP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and general instructions. -Performs other duties and special projects as directed by supervision -Ability to understand mechanized equipment as well as the dangers associated with them -Displays appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive influence and ability to work in Team Environment -Document all Maintenance work activity within CMMS Emaint System.

What You Bring to the Team -Be able to read, interpret, and modify electrical prints and schematics and document all self-created changes -Complete understanding of Plant electrical systems, including DC Voltage and AC Voltage 24 V to 480 V and proficiency in electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices -Experience using sensing and control devices -Overall responsibility for ensuring safety of the work place, by seeing that appropriate practices are established in place and enforced -Support, follow, and support the Lock-Out/Tag-Out program -Working knowledge of PLCs, HVAC systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems -Must provide own basic tools. Specialty tools will be available to use provided by the Company -Must have reliable transportation -3 to 5 year industrial electrical/programming experience or two-year technical degree preferred Must be able to read, write and speak English, preferred if can read, write and speak English and Spanish. -Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification -PLC programming required; Multiple platforms such as Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley Control Logix, HMI, and Servo Drive programming and troubleshooting experience preferred. -Strong computer skills required; Microsoft Office Excel proficiency as well as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems experience preferred. -Mechanical troubleshooting experience in baking/packaging and/or highly automated continuous process environment preferred. -Ability to perform mechanical work, valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, electrical lube routes. -Ability to work off shifts (afternoons and midnights) and overtime as necessary. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates. -Must provide own basic tools. (Tool List to be Provided) Specialty tools will be available to use provided by the Company
