Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Clinic Coordinator like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

You will:

  • Provide support to the front office and clinical staff in developing and implementing work plans and objectives

  • Create an environment that the team works together across roles to accomplish goals and to ensure patients receive the quality care we promise

  • Oversees the process to prepare patient for examinations and treatment

  • Develop guidelines for prioritizing work, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying staffing to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained

  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves work issues

  • Ensures any patient complaints are handled appropriately

  • Assist front office to ensure point-of-service collections are made when applicable

  • Ensures timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into billing system

  • Performs administrative functions and complies data for reports and records

  • Required to work alternate shifts and may float to other location

  • Required to work in a staff position to fill open shifts

You Should Have:

  • Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants and course-work in healthcare office management is preferred

  • 1 year + of medical office experience is required

  • RMA, CMA, LVN, NCT, or LMRT certificate is preferred

  • CPR and BLS are required within 30 days of employment

  • Knowledge of clinic office procedures, organizational policies, systems, and objectives.

  • Familiarity with medical practice terminology

  • Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and supervise staff

  • Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, administration, and the public

  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations

The CareNow Urgent Care Clinic hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 8am – 9pm, Saturday 8am – 8pm, and Sunday 8am – 5pm. You must have the flexibility to work during those hours
