About the Role: Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is on the hunt for a passionate Assistant Pastry Chef who shares our commitment to exceptional food quality, customer service, and community engagement. In this role, you'll join a vibrant team dedicated to crafting a unique menu of over 40 fresh-baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins, all made with integrity and whole ingredients.
What We Seek in You:
Kitchen Mastery : A proven track record of culinary excellence, adhering to recipes, and meticulous attention to detail in crafting distinctive pastries and baked goods.
Physical Capability : The strength to manage substantial quantities of dough, flour, and other materials, often exceeding 50 lbs, with the stamina to stand, lift, and mix daily.
Adaptability : The skill to navigate change with flexibility while maintaining focus on the culinary tasks at hand.
Early Riser : A willingness to embrace early morning shifts beginning at 4 am or earlier, throughout the year.
Qualifications:
1+ years of extensive baking/pastry experience, with a knack for swiftly decorating exquisite pastries (preferred, not mandatory).
