Salary Range: \$111,500 - \$153,300, depending on experience and location.
Schedule: Office - On Site
Job Summary
With general direction, this role is responsible for leading our dynamic team of software developers. The ideal Candidate will be highly skilled and motivated, have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of internal software developers and contractors, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Provide technical direction and support to the development team, including code reviews, design discussions, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, team Manager and Director as well as product owners, QA, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of the development process.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and drive the adoption of new tools and methodologies to improve development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years\' of experience in software development, with supervisory or leadership experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Scrum agile software development methodology
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, REACT, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Analysis and design of object-oriented solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Experience with software and application design and architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master\'s degree is a plus.
- Proficiency with .NET Core, REST API, JSX, JSON, Typescript, Javascript and CSS, Entity Framework Core (LINQ), Windows web server management, IIS and LDAP.
- PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and Oracle databases.
- Version control using GitHub.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- JIRA project management.
- Experience with Python
