MaineGeneral Health Practice Supervisor - Outpatient Rehab in Augusta, Maine

Job Summary:MaineGeneral Health, a leading healthcare system renowned for its culture of excellence, compassion, and collaboration, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to join our management team. This role is critical in supporting our busy medical practices and ensuring the highest level of service for our patients and their families.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Supervisor at MaineGeneral Health, you will be the key point of contact for our busy practice. Your role will involve hands-on leadership, staff supervision, and ensuring seamless operations to provide outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on Leadership: Work alongside staff to maintain service levels and provide exceptional customer service to patients.

  • Staff Coordination: Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments for clerical staff.

  • Training and Development: Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff, fostering their professional growth.

  • Performance Management: Conduct or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.

  • Quality Assurance: Assess the quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Policy Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

  • Problem Resolution: Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints, ensuring patient and staff satisfaction.

  • Team Support: Pitch in and perform staff responsibilities as needed to meet required service levels and maintain smooth operations.

    Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in a medical office setting.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with Soarian Financial and Soarian Scheduling is strongly preferred.

  • Customer Service Excellence: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating positive patient experiences.

  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.

  • Responsiveness: A sense of urgency in responding to concerns of patients, staff, and providers.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

  • Professionalism: Ability to maintain a professional demeanor even under stressful situations.
