We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
Job Description:
Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
Prepares compounds within scope of practice.
Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy and other service departments.
Performs quality assurance rounds to assure regulatory compliance.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred. Current State of Maine Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacy Intern license, or be eligible for required pharmacy technician licensure (required)
Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
Current Pharmacy Technician Board Certification (CPhT), preferred
At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a hospital setting and/or retail setting, strongly preferred
Extensive customer service experience Excellent and demonstrated communication skills
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
Computer proficiency
