The Role

The Lead Engineer is a technical specialist working as part of the Managed Services Windows team. The team provides world-class support to an enterprise-level client base responsible for incident resolution, processing of change requests, and contributions to problem management for all Microsoft platform cases.

The Main Responsibilities

• Detailed working knowledge of all Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 2012, 2016, 2022, and earlier versions)

• Detailed knowledge of Azure, VmWare VSphere and virtual environments.

• Working Knowledge of one or more of the following: Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft SQL, IIS, Netbackup, McAfee, Microsoft Clusters

• Working knowledge of Server monitoring 

• Strong knowledge of basic protocols – SMTP, DNS, HTTP Understanding of DNS concepts and the ability to administer DNSWorking knowledge of various backup technologies

• Demonstrated ability to learn on the fly and embrace new technologies

• Automation skills a plus Python, Itential, Powershell, UI Path, Bash

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, backup, virtualization with VMware vSphere, Azure and Office 365 with some exchange.

• Preferred experience with Cohesity backup program and Disaster recovery with Zerto.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
