MaineGeneral Health General Maintenance Technician - Grounds, Per Diem in Augusta, Maine
Job Description Summary: MaineGeneral is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team as a General Maintenance Technician. The position is primarily responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and mechanical equipment. If you have a passion for service excellence, we want to hear from you!
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Excellent and demonstrated communication and customer service skills
Experience in use of hand tools, power tools and testing instruments
Will be flexible to work occasional weekends and during weather events
Valid Driver's license with clean record required
Job Description:
Assists with installation, testing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external trades persons.
Maintains records of installations. Takes inventory of repair parts and supplies.
Performs maintenance of grounds as needed and scheduled.
Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.
