Acosta Group Field Manager in Augusta, Maine

DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a sales-minded Field Manager to join our innovative and growing company in an exciting partnership with a leading solar energy company. As a Field Manager, you will lead a team of Part-Time Store Representatives to deliver on the objective of engaging shoppers and scheduling qualified home owners for an in-home sales consultation within Home Depot stores. You will also work closely with the Account Manager to communicate regularly regarding tracking performance metrics to goal and reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring thatSales Representatives submit reports by their deadlines and adhere to all company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Field Manager will:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for Part-Time Sales Representatives who will engaging shoppers and scheduling qualified homeowners for an in-home sales consultation within Home Depot stores.

  • Drive Part-Time Sales Representatives to meet and exceed goals through field visits, sales coaching and performance management.

  • Be responsible for interviewing and hiring of Part-Time Sales Representatives, managing all aspects of their training, scheduling/execution of visits, completion of all reports and overall performance to goal.

  • Have proven ability to adapt to changing business environment while proactively ensuring field organization meets or exceeds client expectations - a burning desire to be the best!

  • Develop strong rapport with Part-Time Sales Representatives and retail store personnel through consistent and professional communication.

  • Report Field Insights and challengesto management, while communicating program changes/updates to the field

  • Receive other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years’ prior team management experience in a sales environment.

  • Previous interviewing, hiring, training, and onboarding experience preferred.

  • Strong computer and mobile skills required: Internet, email, apps and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience in retail management or 3PL labor management a plus.

  • Home office space with broadband Internet connectivity required.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license - All employees that are required to use their personal vehicle for business purposes are required to provide Mosaic/Acosta a copy of their insurance policy.

  • Natural ability to lead a team in a manner that will build team morale and accomplish objectives.

  • Ability to achieve all established success metrics as outlined by the program for your district.

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly communicate information to a group or individual.

  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision, while exercising ethical and professional business practices.

  • Willingness to travel within and outside your territory if and when required.
