What you'll get to do

In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting a variety of projects within the Project Management space. This includes working closely with our consultants and client stakeholders to deliver projects from start to finish, within budget, and to a high standard.

Your typical day will be full of variety, covering everything from supporting the response to tenders and sales proposals, to evolving practice IP, mentoring junior members of our team, and of course leading PM engagements with our clients. You'll demonstrate exceptional team leadership skills and possess a growth mindset.

Duties

  • Develop comprehensive, realistic, and transparent project plans and documentation that aligns with the statement of work, budget, and delivery timelines

  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders sign off in the technical and commercial project plans, including project contracts and or risk escalation and approvals sign off

  • Works with Lead consultant and wider PMO team to manage,

  • manage client and stakeholder relationships

  • effective resource management (incl. prioritising, delegating & mentoring)

  • organising, coordinating, and managing the project delivery team

  • coordinate, record, and ensure quantity compliance

  • Conduct weekly project reviews with Lead consultants and workforce manager, including timesheet to booking reconciliations, monitoring, and agreeing delivery status, and reporting or escalating concerns as they arise.

  • Maintaining budget and scope of work

  • Maintaining internal systems, and ensures processes and guidance when providing end of month reporting etc

What you'll bring

  • 1-2 years experience as a Junior Project Manager or project administrator – preference with Consulting experience delivering M365/SaaS based solutions.

  • Previous experience with project management methodologies and techniques using Agile methodology and Waterfall framework.

  • Capable of effective resource management (incl. prioritising, delegating, & mentoring).

  • Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work from own initiative and within a team environment.

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a consulting environment.

  • Ability to manage workload and time according to set deadlines.

  • Project Management certifications preferred but not necessary.
