ETEL Transformers Product Line Engineer in Auckland, New Zealand
Are you an enthusiastic and practical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?
We're currently looking for two Engineers to assist in the preparations, submissions to customers and handovers to production for live order Distribution transformer projects for either the Pole and Groundmount product line focusing on utility network transformers and standard products or the Large Industrial & Specialty product line which focuses on the design and build of customised orders and products.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain a wealth of experience in a diverse cross-section of engineering fields – all on one site.
What you'll do:
Assist in in the preparation and submissions of major tenders for distribution transformers, including material sourcing and costing, price estimation.
efficiently co-ordinate and manage all tasks associated with the tendering process, and other technical services as necessary
Collation and formation of operation and maintenance manual and details as needed for offers and contracts
Assist in response of technical enquiries to customers.
Communicate regularly and provide relevant information to different internal stakeholders
What you'll have:
Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Electrical or Mechanical with Electrical experience
A good grasp of basic engineering principles related to Power or Electrical engineering.
Some 3D Modelling Experience, Solidworks or Similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Great communication & people skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
A positive and team-focused attitude
Provide any ideas that promotes continuous improvement within the department
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
Attention to detail, process driven and quality focused
