How this opportunity is different

This role will see you leading Aon New Zealand’s Product & Platform strategy and execution, encompassing a broad range of responsibilities including the strategy and management of our Commercial Risk products, portfolio performance and governance, carrier platform strategy and broking excellence.

What the day will look like

  • Lead and optimise our Commercial Risk product strategy including new product development and rationalisation.

  • Engage with our regional and global teams in developing the Commercial Risk platform strategy and carrier connectivity.

  • Design a Broking Centre of Excellence which focusses on the needs of the customer.

  • In collaboration and partnership with our Business Learning Manager, develop learning options for upskilling capability across our key products and platforms.

  • Through understanding our key performance drivers, work with our Product and Platform’s team in engineering solutions that can impact our performance.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Leadership experience in a similar role coming from within Financial Services or another similarly highly regulated environment.

  • Demonstrable experience in leading products including improving and innovating product offerings.

  • Experience in leading the digitisation within a financial services business.

  • A high degree of commercial competence and proficient business planning capabilities with the ability to be effective at both an operational and strategic level.

  • Strong engagement and communication skills and being able to confidently embed key messaging across colleagues at varying levels.
