Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Job Description

• Compile information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of raw materials, parts, supplies, outside services, and tools.

• Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.

• Find new qualified suppliers and sources for products and services.

• Prepare purchase orders and maintain computerized procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, and delivery.

• Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, vendors, and others to determine the source of trouble and take corrective action.

• Confer with suppliers concerning late deliveries and non-conforming products.

• Compare prices, specifications, and lead times.

• Monitor material availability in inventory on a daily basis and replenish inventory as needed.

• Daily monitor and manage MRP requirements.

Hard Skills

  • Manufacturing expereince

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • MRP implementation

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Auburn, Washington.

Work Environment

Monday through Friday (Start time would be between 7am & 8am)
