Job Summary
Directs the maintenance and improvement operation plans of assigned branch property, facilities, and/or vehicles. Maintains and repairs building and equipment. Supports annual maintenance and improvement plans of properties, facilities and vehicles, including preventative maintenance plans and related budgets.

Hiring range: $77,970 - $79,920/year
Responsibilities
Provides overall coordination and implementation of maintenance, including planning and developing preventative maintenance programs and annual improvement plans for assigned facilities.Provides support to all assigned facilities.
Provides direct supervision for the maintenance program for assigned facilities.Hires, trains and evaluates staff.
Advises branch leadership on maintenance and custodial issues and projects as requested.
May train and mentor assigned staff to handle routine maintenance and facilities operations.
Provides leadership to volunteers, including committees if assigned.
Oversees the work of contracted facility professionals as needed.
Assists in developing the branch facility budget to support preventative and annual maintenance plans, and monitors expenditures against budget.
Ensures that all vehicles are maintained and operated in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Association.
Promptly reports any program-related concerns to the appropriate staff member.
May be required to carry a pager and cell phone 24/7 for maintenance emergencies.
Submits timely reports, including Net Facilities, as required.
Assists with the annual fundraising campaign as assigned.
Updates the facility plans annually.

Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in facility management or closely related field.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, property management and other maintenance-related areas.
Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.
Boiler, HVAC systems, CPO, CPR and first aid certifications required within first year of employment. An O7 Electrical License is preferred.
Ability and license to drive a company vehicle.
Proficiency with personal computers and standard programs.
Proven experience in staff supervision and budget management.
Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ability to drive in a safe and effective manner; proof of adequate vehicle insurance coverage is required, or ability to travel to areas without public transportation.
Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
