TheAccounting Associatejob inFarmington, Maineis responsible for assisting with the activities of the overall general accounting function. Will oversee, implement and maintain accounting systems, procedures and policies. This position ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and acts as liaison between the company, agencies, vendors, and CPA auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained. Youll have a solid understanding of A/R, A/P, time billing, P/R, G/L, tax payments, special reports to assist with agency metrics, and month end reports. This is a full-time, long term, day shift position.\ \ Accounting Associate Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field preferred
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Work independently while efficiently multitasking
• High attention to details, ability to take directions, self-check and follow up on work
• Basic database experience, 10 key by touch & calculator
• Able to enter accurate financial /numerical data
• Analytical and critical problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, QuickBooks or other accounting software, and EPIC
• Basic to intermediate computer and typing skills
• Ability to apply discretion, trust with confidential company information

\ Accounting Associate Details:

• Schedule: M-F 8-430P 1 hour lunch (paid for 40 hours)
• Pay Rate: \$18 - \$22/ hr DOE
• Start Date: ASAP
