*MUST BE LOCATED IN FORT WAYNE, IN or INDIANAPOLIS, IN or WILLING TO RELOCATE*

What You’ll Do:

• Create deliverables for substation P&C projects, collaborating with internal multidiscipline teams from assisting with scope estimating and proposals, through detailed design and equipment procurement, to project construction bidding, to commissioning support and construction support for energization

• Produce P&C design drawings, including Relaying/Functional One-Lines, Three-Lines, AC/DC Schematics, Panel Views, BOM, Wiring Diagrams, and Station Communication & Alarm Diagrams

• Perform studies and calculations to properly design substation P&C schemes, including battery bank sizing calculations, wire/cable ampacity, as well as AC & DC load centers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent

• 2+ years of substation P&C engineering experience related to electrical power substation design for Coops, Municipalities, and/or IOUs

• Knowledge of IEEE standards as related to P&C design

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% when needed within the continental U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EIT certification

• Experience with Bluebeam
